Judgement room

Posted on October 12, 2020December 5, 2020 by thosegilligans_bm456c

My hand hurts,

the one I landed on jumping out of a moving vehicle doing thirty

Escaping from your threats

After so much time and love that I poured in, who would have known you could do me so dirty.

Well now I know,

playing the fool

Eating the apple that kept me binded to you.

Now you lay in a bed you made,

standing before you.

The consequences are haunting us

Cheating, lying, drugs

Who would have thought your demons were strong enough

to break this up

Did you love them, or me…

Well now I see

I’ve promised to stay in my place

Pain when I see your face

Heart tightens as I clear out my space

Folding out pictures from their gold locket frames

Either way I will be loved, even if it’s not from you.
