4 stars, it was something different.
Confession: I can’t get on the bandwagon of complaints and negative outlooks. Not only was this a year full of 20/20 hindsight which has personally helped me refocus and push forward with new growth while letting go over toxicness. This seems to be the year when the world stopped for a second so we could get our shit together. It’s a small obstacle, with businesses shut down and or limiting their availability, when considering the flipside of no immediate expectations.
“WE ARE IN A PANDEMIC”-people of america
Of course this year had its cons and heartbreaks. Also, with so much time to take advantage of this idleness with overthinking, the stress along with picking up the addiction of cigarettes had only weakened my immune system leading me into sickness. So forced rest? I think sure *chuckles*
We just rather focus on the good during this. So, thankful for good health and perseverance, this year has pushed a lot of fears, doubts, codependency, toxicity, and distractions out the way to bring in independence and creative endeavors. I feel this slow down of the world’s usual fast pace has also awakened mindfulness with intention.
I’ve watched a lot of friends use this time to open up businesses or find their creativity and turn that into something lucrative. I’ve also watched many more become mindful of what they put in their body and or how they live day to day.
With the world paused and lack of distraction, the need for change seemed more evident didnt it.
2020 will get 4 stars from THose Gilligan’s because despite the obstacles, we’re ending this year a better people than we entered. I personally feel lighter physically and spiritually. My family will come out stronger, organized, balanced, and mindful of how we walk because we know the days are evil. But in it, we will continue to bless the Lord above all because we KNOW that He is working all things for the good, even the year 2020! This truly has been an interesting experience, I kept 1 star because I do miss the chinese buffets.
Looking forward to 2021, what have you accomplished this year, big or small… Share your review and accomplishments below.
